Alchemy Ventures was founded in 2005 by Mark Rogers and Steve Hotovec as a vehicle to fund small and medium sized hedge funds and asset managers in a more efficient manner. The pair identified a developing niche at the confluence of absolute return strategies, investment technology, and operational process integration. Drawing on their best ideas, Alchemy has developed a specialized method for managing and deploying firm capital. The net result is an ability to fund talented small and medium sized alternative asset managers not targeted by traditional institutional investors.
